This is from my first trip to the Epcot food and wine festival. The Food and Wine Fest has been going on since 1996 when Julia Child was a special guest.
We started out with something familiar before we tried the unusual stuff. This is the Cronut and a Dole Whip from the Refreshment port. both were very good as we expected
This is my Wife enjoying a Fresh Watermelon juice from Terra, it tasted like you were eating a watermelon.
We had to stop and meet Minny and Mickey while we were there.
Here is the Hawaii booth and the Kālua pork slider with sweet and sour Dole® Pineapple chutney and spicy mayonnaise and a Maui Splash Sweet Pineapple Wine. The slider was good but better things were to come
We stopped at the Farm Fresh for a Griddled Yard Bird which got another ok but not great. The Key Lime wine was nice though.
These are some bonus pics from our dinner in the Coral Reef restaurant at Epcot. Above left is the crab dip, top right Mahi, bottom left lava cake.
Here is a pic from the free Eat to the Beat concert and also a pic inside the Chase Disney Visa lounge
I was surprised that my wife wanted to try the Kung Fu Puch at China so I made here wait until the end of the night. It was a tasty Peachy drink and not to strong
I had the Mango-strawberry margarita which was ok but I like the Frozen one at the regular Mexico booth better.
This is our tasty treat from the Hops and Barley booth in the American Pavilion, it is Baked lobster alfredo, and Florida grass fed beef slider with pimento cheese
We stopped at the Canada booth and got Cheese soup and “Le Cellier” wild mushroom beef filet mignon with truffle butter sauce, and Seared rainbow trout with bacon, frisee and maple Minus 8 Vinaigrette. It was so good we at them before I got a pic.
This is at our Culinary Demostration with Tony Armstron, Park Event Operations. he fixed a wonderful potato chip encrusted baked chicken we were also treated to a Hurricane Class 5 White Sangria from the Florida Orange Groves & Winery
This is the Strawberry Mango frozen margarita from the permanent Mexico booth.
Heere is my Bratwurst from Germany on a pretzel bun. It was very good but the bun was a little small as you can see. also pictured is a side of apple strudle
We picked up a Sauerkraut pierogi with pork goulash here at the Poland booth then quickly ate it before I got a pic but trust me it was very good.
Here is my frozen drink from France, it’s a La Passion Martini Slush: vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron, cranberry and passion fruit juice
I ended with what might be the best item I had the Lobster and seafood fisherman’s pie from the Ireland booth. It was full of Lobster and Scallop meat.
